For Policyholders
Your Friday Health Plans coverage ends at 11:59 P.M., August 31, 2023.
You must choose a new Exchange Health Plan by August 31, 2023 to avoid a gap in your coverage. You may choose a new Exchange Health Plan after August 31, 2023 until October 30, 2023, but you will have a gap in coverage.
Yes. The premium subsidy will continue until your Friday Health Plan coverage ends. You will also continue to receive a subsidy for your new health plan as long as you are eligible.
We have provided instructions from the Exchange HERE, and a copy of notice you will receive from the Exchange at this LINK. For help choosing and enrolling into a new Exchange Health Plan, you can visit this link https://localhelp.healthcare.gov and find local people to assist you.
A special enrollment period allows you to enroll in a health plan outside of the normal open enrollment period. The special enrollment period runs from July 2, 2023 until October 30, 2023. NOTE: You must enroll by August 31, 2023 to avoid a gap in your coverage.
Yes, for all covered services. You are only responsible for the cost share.
Yes. If you are currently paying premium for your Friday Health Plans coverage, you must continue to do so until the coverage ends.

For Providers
Yes. The Commissioner expects providers to continue to care for patients who are insured by Friday Health Plans.
Yes. Providers will be paid for services rendered to patients who are insured by Friday Health Plans in accordance with the patient's health plan and relevant provider contracts for network providers.
Yes. Where applicable, these laws continue to apply until Friday Health Plans coverage ends. All coverage ends at 11:59 P.M., August 31, 2023.
You should continue to file claims in the same way as before. These FAQs will be updated to inform you of any changes to process and procedures.

We expect that an order of rehabilitation and liquidation will be issued by the Superior Court of Wake County, North Carolina. We will publish more information after the issuance of the order.

Download1. Log into your Marketplace account on https://www.healthcare.gov
2. Select your current application under "Your existing applications".
3. Select "Report a life change" from the menu, then continue to confirm you're reporting a life change.
4. Select "Report a change in my household's income, size, address, or other information", then "Continue."
5. Continue through the application. Select "Yes" when asked if you lost health coverage and enter August 31, 2023.
6. Update other information in your application, as necessary. Then sign and submit it.
7. Review your Eligibility Notice. Then, select "Continue to Enrollment" to enroll in a new plan. Pay your premium by the payment deadline to start your new coverage.
